Our story

Forty-two years from a single ledger.

Dr. P. C. Thahir founded Team Thai in 1984 with a cement marketing and trading firm in Calicut. Over four decades, the house has diversified into nine ventures spanning FMCG, manufacturing, food, logistics, plantation, global trade, home appliances, IT and clearing & forwarding.

In 1992 the logistics arm Aghin Roadways was set up. The group's flagship laundry brand Dr.Wash — manufactured by subsidiary Ashique Chemicals & Cosmetics — today holds over 40% market share among branded washing cakes in Kerala. Approximately 2,500 employees now sit behind the twenty registered brands.
